EFFICIENT GRINDING
Maximize loading speed and productivity with the patented SmartGrind system and hydraulic feed roller down pressure. The open-ended, wide feed tables are designed to make side loading easy and efficient.
The HG4000E features a fully enclosed, fan-cooled WEG® electric motor rated at 500 hp (373 kW) for the mill, a 50 hp (37.3 kW) motor for the hydraulic pump, and a 2 hp (1.5 kW) motor for hydraulic cooling.
The 60 in (152.4 cm) wide feed table with flared sidewalls can accommodate large-volume materials.
FLEXIBLE CONFIGURATIONS
For greater flexibility within a single machine, a dedicated chip drum is available that can be adjusted to produce product sizes ranging from 0.125 in to 1 in (0.3 cm to 2.5 cm).
Increase cutting performance with the patented Series II dual drum system, designed with reversible hammers and tips to help reduce daily maintenance requirements and nearly double wear life.
Hinged dual screens improve processing efficiency and provide flexibility in final product sizing.
SMART FEED SYSTEM
The smart feed system monitors the machine’s engine speed and keeps the engine operating at an optimal level. This allows you to spend more time feeding material instead of making adjustments.
SAFETY
Reduce the amount of thrown material and the distance it travels with the strategically positioned Thrown Object Deflector (TOD), designed to minimize obstructions when loading long materials.
